
Someday's you feel worse than others..This was one of those days. BUT! I made two PR's for the year, so I'm pleased. This is just another example of how the body can lie.
A. A brief warm-up featuring some hardcore jumps, and super hardcore mobility
B. Cambered bar squat with chains, working up to 570 bar weight. Looking at the video, this was easy. I did cut my depth a bit. I think that was from a sensation of the right side being a bid heavier...I felt tilted. Also, my right hip was moaning a bit during warm-ups. Next week, fresh, I want 585.
C. Suspended Good Mornings, same bar and chains
I worked up to 425 for 3. This was harder than I wanted, but hey, I did it.
D. Incline press
Here, I was pretty worried. I thought it would be nice to go back and hit the load I was buried under last week - 355. But, my shoulders and elbows were feeling real banged up. I did it anyhow.
Each warm-up was better and better. I hit a pretty easy 355. I will force my triceps to come alive again. I sear...
E. METCON - Fat Man Fran
This was a pretty good little circuit. I took a little inspiration from the crossfit WOD and did 21-15-9.
E1 - Standing DB press with 70's
E2 - Lat Pulldowns, maybe around 200 lbs.
That's what it was. Tomorrow, I'm taking off. Dinner and Harry Potter, Bitches!!!
